Given that many people who access a courthouse on any given day are angry or disgruntled and possibly have histories of violence, the spilling of court-related proceedings into nonsecure areas of the courthouse may be cause for concern from a security perspective.

Primary Task Response: Within the Discussion Board area, write 400–600 words that respond lto the following questions with your thoughts, ideas, and comments. This will be the foundation for future discussions by your classmates. Be substantive and clear, and use examples to reinforce your ideas.
The objective of this assignment is to enable you to demonstrate your understanding of problems and opportunities related to court security. Providing for appropriate security is a challenge faced by court administrators in an age of heightened concern about possible terrorism or other forms of violent outbreaks associated with court processes. Given the changes in court workloads as well as the growth in alternative mechanisms for resolving disputes (e.g., pre-trial meetings, out-of-court settlement conferences, informal settlements, or legal strategy conversations and mediations), judicial proceedings have spilled beyond the walls of the courtroom.
Here is a case in point: In the Los Angeles Superior Courts, a case may be called in one of the courtrooms but the judge may decide to order the parties to attempt to settle their differences prior to the case being heard in open court through a settlement conference or mediation. However, in most courthouses, the facilities for such conversations are virtually nonexistent. For example, at the Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center on West Temple Street in downtown Los Angeles, benches in hallways, a vacant jury room, or even a corner table in the cafeteria on the first floor are typical venues for these types of sessions. Although normal security procedures are in effect at the building entrances (e.g., X-ray machines, hand wands, armed L.A. County Sheriff officers, CCTV cameras), courtrooms (e.g., court security officers), and for certain secured areas (e.g., electronic card access, CCTV cameras), officers are not on duty nor are cameras evident in every area where out-of-court meetings may occur. Given that many people who access a courthouse on any given day are angry or disgruntled and possibly have histories of violence, the spilling of court-related proceedings into nonsecure areas of the courthouse may be cause for concern from a security perspective. Yet, funds for expansion in security precautions are often limited and under most budget scenarios, court administrators who oversee facility security must manage this new wrinkle creatively.
In an essay of 400-600 words, discuss your ideas for how security in a courthouse or justice center needs to be managed when proceedings are going on not only in courtrooms but also in other areas of the facilities, such as vacant jury rooms, attorney conference rooms, benches in hallways, other meeting rooms, the detention area, and even the cafeteria.
Include your thoughts about what your general security goals should be as well as your specific recommendations for addressing these types of situations, especially when limited available funds necessitate a clear prioritization of possible options.

However, it is worth noting that levonorgestrel [plan b or morning after pill] has numerous side effects, which could lead to serious health issues.

Our discussion theme is based on the advancement of medical drugs and its social illnesses, “Euthanasia” or “Doctors Assisted Suicide, “Abortion Rights” & wrong.”
Abortion Rights” & wrong:
Practically every human invention or scientific discovery can be used for good or for bad, including and especially the discovery and use of drugs. Take for example the discovery of birth control pills by Margaret Sanger in 1960. In fact, some Blacks were sterilized by eugenics program funded by Margaret Sanger’s financier. While the Scientific Community and Pro-Choice groups applaud her contributions to the medical field, Pro-Life groups perceive her contribution as the beginning of sexual revolution that paved way for the U.S. Supreme Court ruling in Roe vs. Wade, a federal court case that legalized abortion in the U.S. in 1973. On 6/24/2002, the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe vs. Wade in the case ruling of 19-1392 Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization.
The U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe vs. Wade case, which was known legal as abortion rights for women in the United States, did not completely ban all abortion rights for women in America. In fact, the reversal of Roe vs. Wade only returned the decision back to States Legislatures. The decision to overturn Roe vs. Wade implicates that surgical abortion of fetus is not a constitutional right in America. Regardless of politicians say, the decision did not ban chemical abortion rights for women in the Unites States. For example, ” levonorgestrel, also known as “Plan B or Morning-After pill,” is an emergency contraception pill that one could buy over the counter in America. According to its [Plan B or Morning-After pill] manufacturers, levonorgestrel is a chemical abortion pill when taken properly (Bayer, Paladin Labs, Teva, Pfizer, and Apotex). However, it is worth noting that Levonorgestrel [Plan B or Morning After pill] has numerous side effects, which could lead to serious health issues.
Euthanasia” or “Doctors Assisted Suicide”:
Murad Jacob “Jack” Kevorkian, who died in 2011, is credited for his passion to see states in America pass laws to allow doctor’s assisted suicide of those who want to die before their time. Read more about it on: https://www.britannica.com/biography/Jack-Kevorkian
As the advancement of medicine increases, so too might the Supreme Court face another highly contested drug-related medical issue, known as “Euthanasia” or “Doctors Assisted Suicide.” Euthanasia is the killing of a person whom we believe is suffering from a fatal disease. Based on how the state law is written where such practice is legal, doctor’s assisted suicide may be requested by the person who wants to die, or a loved one. Doctors Assisted Suicide assumes the life of a person in certain situations is worth dying than living. The assumption is that the person is in so much pain that his or her life is no longer worth it. Even still today, many people argue that Euthanasia is designed to kill people like animals, which go against the doctor’s Hippocratic Oath and Physician’s Creed to save human lives. Doctors Assisted Suicide is legal in nearly a dozen states in America today. Read more about it on: https://euthanasia.procon.org/states-with-legal-physician-assisted-suicide/
Based on the concepts described, answer the questions below.

1) If we allow euthanasia or doctor’s assisted suicide, do you believe we would be embracing the superior race ideology of Hitler and the bizarre ideas of his book, “Mein Kampf”?
2) To what extent do you believe euthanasia embraces Charles Darwinian theory as applicable to social Sciences?

3) Aside from ecclesiastical and social arguments, and regardless of which side of the abortion debate aligns with your personal beliefs of when human life begins, answer this question from a scholarly point of view.
Question: If life does begin at birth as sanctimoniously argued by some, then why do most of the same people deny kids equal provisions by the federal government claiming problems of unwanted kids are not our responsibility?
4) Do you believe some caretakers of the mentally ill or the chronically ill patients might be tempted to talk the patients into considering or choosing the “Doctors Assisted Suicide?”
5) If euthanasia is practiced, do you believe people with cognitive issues like, Down syndrome, can fully understand a decision to choose to die through doctor’s assisted suicide?

6) Aside from ecclesiastical and social arguments, and regardless of which side of the abortion debate aligns with your personal beliefs of when human life begins, answer this question from a scholarly point of view.
Question: If life begins at conception, then at what point do you think the life of a child is worth terminating by the mother, father, family member, or another decision maker, like a doctor?
7) If you were one of the U.S. Supreme Court Justices, how would rule (vote) on this issue? How would you support your decision of voting for or against euthanasia?

8) How do you think we would determine who is mentally competent to choose the right to die using doctor’s assisted suicide?

9) Do you believe Doctors Assisted Suicide practice supports the doctor’s Hippocratic oat to preserve human life?

10) If we allow every state in the America to have laws allowing doctor’s assisted suicide, do you believe this is a good idea?

Would such behavior fall within the scope of most juvenile court acts?

After reading Cox chapters 7 and 8, in 1000 words, discuss in a meaningful way to clarify your understanding of the difference between violations of juvenile law versus delinquent acts. In the instruction below you discuss a 15-year-old who refuses to obey the parents’ rules of the home. You will analyze if the behavior falls in the scope of the juvenile courts and if the juvenile will be dealt with as a delinquent or not, and what recommendations you would make. The purpose of this assignment will give you the opportunity to apply activities in a meaningful essay application. Your essay discusses a 15-year-old who is taken before juvenile court in the county in which he resides for allegedly repeatedly refusing to obey his parents’ orders to be home before 10:00 at night. Would such behavior fall within the scope of most juvenile court acts? Would the juvenile be dealt with as a delinquent under the Uniform Juvenile Court Act recommendations? If not, why not?
